Basically all of the below can be summed up under the ethos of "be good to each other and don't wreck each others things" (which thankfully is not an issue on the server, thanks to all you lovely guys). However, some felt a little more clarification would be helpful, to avoid confusion, so we set about finding out what rules members would like to see in place.
In addition to the pre-existing 3 Considerations, there are now a new set of Four Guidances, as shown below. These will be further informed and influenced by the Suggestions 2, which were voted for in the Poll, to form our first Code of Practice.
The Three Considerations:
- Do not take or break anything made/created by anyone else.
- No bad language please, there may be young ones online.
- Try to treat others as you would like them to treat you.
The Four Guidances are:-
- Players who deliberately break the rules will have their OP Rank reduced by 1
- Players that cannot have their OP rank reduced further will be removed from the server (whitelist) for a temporary period.
- Repeatedly breaking rules, or causing trouble, could result in a permanent ban.
- Players who are thought to have caused problems on the server, are able to choose to have a trial, should they wish to do so.
EHEMS Code Of Practice (2014):
Where the first Four Guidances do not suffice, the following Code of Practices will be referred to.
If a player causes deliberate damage or is abusive on the server (and refuses to respond or stop) they will automatically be removed from the server temporarily. If you believe that this has happened to you in error, please do email us at feedback@eheminecraft.co.uk and we will do all we can to help.
A summary of the above can be found on the server, on the Law Board, at coordinates x-240 y100 z140. Members are invited to take a look, when they are online.
These Guidances and Code of Practice take effect on Essex Home Ed Minecraft Server from 1st July 2014
Many thanks to everyone that contributed to the creations of these guidances and codes, from writing, to voting. Special thanks to Mortaxe3, without whom, these may not yet exist.
If you have any comments or suggestions about the above, please do let us know.
