As we, the admin, are travelling again, the server will be staying online all weekend. We will be checking emails and in game post when possible, so feel free to contact us if you need us.

Poll Results: How to Deal with Problems on the Server
The results for the recent Essex Home Ed Poll, on How to Deal with Problems on the Server are in and are as follows:-

This means that the first four points (or Guidances), with equal highest votes will automatically be adopted and guide how problems are dealt with on the server, until further notice.
The Four Guidances are:-
Furthermore, the second set of suggestions will also influence how issues are dealt with, as they were the most preferred set of suggestions. Suggestions 2 will be used to determine the Essex Home Ed Server's Code of Practice.
The Four Guidances are:-
- Players who deliberately break the rules will have their OP Rank reduced by 1
- Players that cannot have their OP rank reduced further will be removed from the server (whitelist) for a temporary period.
- Repeatedly breaking rules, or causing trouble, could result in a permanent ban.
- Players who are thought to have caused problems on the server, are able to choose to have a trial, should they wish to do so.

We Need more Power Capt'n...
Apologies to those that tried to get onto the server this morning. There were planned works taking place near us, which meant that they had to turn the power off for a few hours.
Fortunately, everything is powered up again and working now but I will try to give advance notice of any issues like this in advance next time.

Poll: How Problems Are Dealt With on The Server
Further to requests from members to have an official way to deal with problems on the server, as mentioned previously, there is now poll available to give you the opportunity to how issues will be handled in the future.
From griefing, to trolling, to causing deliberate damage, the procedures to deal with such issues, as suggested by members, can now be voted on in the poll on the right side of the screen.
The suggested procedures you can vote on are shown here but you can also add your own ideas about how things can be dealt with (where it says "other") in the poll too. If an idea stands out as being particularly good, it may just make it into the EHEMS Law Books!
The Poll (shown in the right hand column) is open until the end of Sunday 15th June and the results will be announced on this website, on Monday 16th June.

Gamemode Poll Conclusion
Further to the poll conducted recently on which Gamemode members would prefer, over twice as many people voted to have separate zones (survival or creative), than any other option.
As a result, Mortaxe3 will be constructing a Survival Assault zone, in which command blocks will be used to put players choosing to enter the survival zone into survival mode. However, given Mortaxes other commitments and flurry of ideas, we are currently unsure when the survival zone will be completed.
Survival players will be provided with a few basic essential to begin their adventure. Other rules of the survival zone, will be discussed and determined at a later date.
